Course Structure

Participants will master:
- Performing buoyancy checks in a dry suit
- Controlled descent techniques
- Maintaining neutral buoyancy
- Managing air distribution within the suit

Technical Competencies
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Hover steadily near the bottom for at least 60 seconds
- Recover your position when air is concentrated in your boots
- Ascend at a controlled rate of no more than 18 meters per minute
- Remove and replace the scuba unit and weight belt at the surface
- Disconnect and reconnect the low-pressure inflator hose underwater
Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Required certification: SSI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver
