Course Overview:

Embark on an exhilarating journey from recreational diving to the intricate world of technical diving with our Tec 50 course. Building on the skills acquired in Tec 45, this advanced program marks the culmination of the Tec Deep Diver program. Additionally, Tec 50 introduces divers to the use of Tri-mix and accommodates side mount techniques if required.

Course Content:

Immerse yourself in a comprehensive curriculum covering equipment rigging, gas planning, team diving, technical hand signals, gas shutdown drills, gas switching, long hose gas sharing, lift bag deployment, use of deco cylinders, equipment and gas failure procedures, diver emergencies and rescue drills, oxygen management, deco computer software, and precise execution of deco stops. Upon successful completion, participants gain the expertise to conduct gas-switch extended no-deco dives, deco dives, and accelerated deco dives using air and enriched air (up to 100%) to a depth of 50m.

Prerequisites:

  • 18 years old and above
  •  Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent)
  • Enriched Air Diver
  • Deep Diver
  • Dry Suit Diver
  • Rescue Diver
  • EFR/First Aid certificate issued within the last 24 months.
  • Tec 40, and Tec 45, and have logged a minimum of 100 dives or 75 hours underwater.

The course fee covers essential materials and expert instruction.

Not Included:

Additional expenses, including equipment, transportation, gas fills, share of instructor gas costs, and dive site entrance, are not covered. An extra cost of £23.00 per day applies.
