Portland, located on the south coast of England, is renowned for its excellent wreck diving opportunities. The area’s rich maritime history and strategic location have left numerous shipwrecks in the surrounding waters, making it a popular destination for divers.

Join Big Squid on a weekend of scuba diving in Portland, 4 dives over 2 days, on sites of up to depths of 35 meters from hard boats with lifts.

Location & Accommodation

The trip is provided without accommodation but we are happy to advise on a range of local options to suit all budgets.

We depart from Portland on Sunday afternoon. Big Squid doesn’t offer transport to and from Portland however, the transport links are good and we try to arrange a lift for you with other members of the group on a fuel-share basis.

  • Meet at the marina car park before ropes off time on Saturday morning
  • 2 dives on Saturday

Sometimes the wind can be too strong for our trip to go ahead. in these cases the trip cost is refundable.

Refunds for cancellations made before the balance due date can only be given once the trip is full and another diver has taken your place.
For cancellations made after the balance has been paid, no refund can be given until your place is sold to another diver.

You must listen carefully to all safety briefings whilst on this trip and follow the instructions you are given at all times, both in and out of the water.
Make sure you dive within the limits of your dive certification, experience and comfort level.
