DSAT Tec Basics

Introduction

If you're interested in technical diving, but not sure if you’re ready for the DSAT Tec Deep Diver program the DSAT Tec Basics Specialty Course is for you. The specialty will be credited towards to the DSAT Tec programs when you wish to continue your training.

The course is designed to be a bridge from PADI courses to DSAT courses providing you with an opportunity to gain exposure to technical diving and learn and practice entry level technical diving skills. It introduces you to technical diving without having to make the larger commitment (in terms of equipment, time and cost) of the DSAT Tec Deep program.

Content

You will learn about equipment rigging, gas planning, team diving, technical hand signals, gas shut down drills, long hose gas sharing, lift bag deployment, equipment and gas failure procedures.
