PADI Rescue Diver Course

The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most popular and enjoyable courses that we offer. The Rescue Diver Course will make you a better, safer, diver and buddy. The course emphasizes problem prevention but we also practice appropriate responses to a variety of possible scuba diving emergencies.

We also offer the PADI Rescue Referral option with overseas completion.

Prerequisites

You need to be 10 years or more, be able to swim and a simple medical form needs to be completed.

Proof of PADI Junior or full PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification.

Successful completion of a CPR and first aid course within the past two years. We offer the Emergency First Response course which fulfils this requirement .

Requirements

Read and complete your PADI Rescue Diver manual and knowledge reviews, watch the DVD. complete standard PADI paperwork and medical statement

Completion

Certification as a PADI Rescue Diver. This is valid for life but regular practice sessions are highly recommended to maintain your skills. You are welcome to join us on future Rescue Diver courses as a way of maintaining your skills at no extra cost.

The next level is the first professional level of the PADI system of diver education, PADI Divemaster. Alternatively you can go down the non professional route and become a PADI Master Scuba Diver.

Duration

5 theory modules completed in one afternoon, 2 pool sessions completed on 2 evenings and 1 weekend diving in the Open Water.

Location

We use private pools in Dulwich, Streatham Battersea and Richmond The Open Water sessions are at Wraysbury Lake just outside London.
