PADI Open Water
Your passport to the sea
Imagine the feeling, You are at 18 meters , just you and your buddy, you followed the dive briefing, visualized the dive, and now after 20 minutes underwater you are feeling confident and exhilarated and wonder why you hadn't learnt to dive sooner.
Big Squid will get you to to this point and after expert comprehensive training for a weekend or 5 evening sessions you will be feeling ready and confident to dive in the open water.
How to get your PADI.
Option 1
The PADI Open Water Referral course. Ideal if you are going on holiday and want to avoid spending valuable holiday time inside a classroom preferring to be outdoors.
Option 2
Take the complete course , knowledge development, pool dives, exam and 4 dives in the open water, in London with Big Squid.

Schedule
- One Saturday pool dive training 09.00-16.30
- One Sunday knowledge development, quizzes and exam 11.00-16.30
Price Includes
- All course materials , manual , log book and dive tables.
- (There is a refundable £20.00 deposit required for the loan of the course DVD)

It's about you
- Small groups (Maximum 5 students with 1 instructor in the pool)

Pre Requisites
- Minimum age 15 (12 for junior divers)
- Swim 200m non stop ( any style)
- Tread water or float for 10 minutes
- Complete a medical form
Location
Our Luxurious private pool in Richmond and our dive centre in Clapham both with parking and good tube and bus routes
Evening Courses Option
Over 4 evenings Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in Dulwich, Clapham and Battersea.
Express one day option
Involves elearning and one day pool training

Full PADI Open Water Course, Option 2, £399
The referral option as detailed above plus 4 dives in the open water at Wraysbury near Windsor.
Completion
You will receive your official PADI Open Water certification card which allows you to dive to 18 meters (60 ft) with a buddy. Valid for life but frequent pool refreshers are highly recommended. Big Squid has a friendly dive club and you are welcome to join.
