Navigation Specialty

Develop your underwater awareness with the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course.

What’s involved?

During this course you will master square navigation, tri angle navigation and learn how to use bearings to navigate from point to point Invaluable skills for when searching for lost items underwater or finding your way back to your boat after a dive.

• Natural navigation (without a compass)
• Compass navigation
• Dive site relocation
• How to estimate distance underwater

Duration

1 day with 3 dives required for completion

Certification Requirements

• A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver(or qualifying certification from another organization)
• Minimum age: 10 years old
