After completing the Nitrox course you will receive a PADI enriched air diver certification card allowing you to obtain and use enriched air world-wide.
 
Options
 
To qualify as an Enriched Air Nitrox Diver you must be at least 15 years old and possess a PADI Open Water diver certification or equivalent
 
There are 2 different options for the PADI enriched air nitrox course with Big Squid
nitrox on line
 
OPTION 1        
 
course with out dives
This will certify you to dive with enriched air nitrox, and covers the home-study and classroom theory options along with the practical applications but without any dives
The cost of this course is £100 and includes all your course materials and certification , there are no extras .
The course runs every Thursday evening at our dive centre in Clapham from 19.00-22.00, call 020 7627 0700 to book
By the end of the course you will be qualified to
Decide the optimum gas blend for the depth you are diving to increase your no-stop limits
Obtain and analyze enriched air with a 22-40% oxygen content.
Calculate your oxygen exposure and repetitive pressure groups
Understand the theoretical and operational considerations for enriched air diving
   
OPTION 2        
 
This course is completed over 1 day. Locations for this course include Portland, Stoney Cove, Wraysbury,
The Enriched Air Nitrox Diver course comprises two open water dives and a knowledge development section with a multiple choice exam at the end. price £145
and includes all your course materials and certification , you will need to pay your enty fee to the dive site . check the dates here
Cost/Dates

Training in the UK £155 (includes PADI enriched air crew pack, tanks, nitrox, weights and all equipment. There is a £20 refundable deposit to be paid on booking, for the course DVD which should be returned to us on completion of the course , there is also an option to purchase this DVD , Does not include any site entry fees or boat fees if they apply) Check the dates here

Training abroad: £135 (includes PADI enriched air crew pack with manual and nitrox tables, tanks, nitrox, weights and all equipment)

You can combine this course with a dry suit course and get two certifications for £240 a saving of £45. check the dates here

Equipment

Big squid provide full equipment for all courses, we do however recommend that you purchase your own masks and snorkels for comfort and hygiene reasons. We stock a range of theses items at our shop in Clapham.
